论文摘要
随着网络信息基础设施和技术的不断发展与完善,分布式地理信息服务正成为人们获取地理信息的主要手段。与传统方式相比,分布式地理信息服务具有更广泛的访问范围、平台独立性、低系统成本、更简单的操作等优点,无疑是今后值的大力发展的一个研究方向。
本文对网络环境下分布式地理信息处理的特点以及对系统的需求进行了分析,着重讨论保证系统可靠性与效率的相关技术,包括网络环境下的空间索引,数据压缩与信号量机制。
同时,文章还对比分析了当前的各个GIS厂商所提供的解决方案,在此基础上实现了自己的原型系统—一遥感影像发布系统(RS
Image Publication System),并对系统体系结构进行了介绍。
最后还对当前学术界、产业界关心的之相关热点问题进行了介绍,对分布式地理信息服务进行了相关展望。

ABSTRACT
With the development of network Infrastructure
and technology, the distributed geoinformation service becomes
the main source for' people to access geoinformation. Compared
with the traditional ways, the distributed geoinformation
service has more virtues in cost, operation and acessibility,
so it's worth our more attention in the later research.
This is focusing on the analysis of the
unique demand of distributed geoinformation processing, and
attach most its attention to the technology to ensure the
system's robustness and efficiency, including the spatial
index, data compression and semaphore.
At the same time, this compares the current
solutions from main stream GIS vendors. Based on these analysis,
we develop our own prototype system-------- Remote Sensed
Image Publication System, and analysize its architecture.
In the end, we make an introduction to the related
hot spot in research and industry and give a prospect to the
distributed geoinformation service.
